Logistics Management
The system allows for tracking pickup and logistics scheduling for contracted and in-house trucking. For each receipt, Pickup Information can be entered by clicking the Update Pickup Information button on the Job Admin page.

Trucking information can be assigned including trucking company contact information, trucking quote, bill of lading and invoicing information. Pallet counts and weight estimates are pulled from the Receipt information.
Pickup information (address, contact info, etc) is also pulled from the Customer / Location record associated with the Receipt as defined in the Job Admin module.
Additional fields such as pickup instructions, pickup notes, requirements and restrictions are also available so that detailed pickup tickets can be generated from this information. Pickup tickets can printed with all information necessary for the trucker to efficiently locate and retrieve goods.
Pickup COnditions can be set to give further instructions to trucking personnel on site requirements. A pickup ticket and pallet labels can be printed from this screen which will contain information about the Vendor / Customer / Job, etc. The pallet labels will also contain Job Services information so that upon delivery to the warehouse it is clear what the expected service levels are.
